About me...bother. I hate these things.
* I'm going into my senior year of college -- majoring in music and history. It took me a while to settle into this...and I'd still add majors in English and philosophy, if I could. :-)
* I'd be a hopelessly idealistic romantic if it were safe, but experience teaches one to play the cynic about most things.
* I'm a Christian...of the missional, conservative, ecumenical variety. I'd call myself an 'Old Testament Calvinist,' too, if I thought it would make sense to anyone. 'Christian agnostic' also tends to confuse people.
* I eventually side with the underdog in any discussion...still not sure if this is a bad habit or a good one.
* I've a deep weakness for tea, rain, autumn, poetry, string quartets, and long walks by the lake at midnight.
Of late, I've written mostly about God and Christianity and the church. Someday I may get back to safer things like books and language and movies.
Most posts in this journal are public, although some that necessarily give a bit more personal information are under friends-lock. Post a comment, send an email, or friend me, or something of that nature, if you want to be added.
